Active Missionaries

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

The Brake Family

Edward works on campus at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) part-time and works with Cru's Mission Trip Operations Team full-time, sending students around the world to share the hope we have in Christ. Emily is a full-time mom while also working on campus with professors and students at UNH and at Keene State College part-time.  Our two kids, Samuel and Sophia, love spending time with students and students really enjoy getting "kid time." We are so blessed to do ministry together as a family, inviting students to come and do life with us. For both of us, Cru was pivotal in our walks with Jesus during college and we are thankful that we've been able to journey alongside UNH students since 2009 (for Emily) and since 2015 (for Edward.)
We are also so grateful to have you partner with us in making Christ known in New Hampshire and around the world!

Nate Greenwood

My name is Nathan Greenwood, I arrived in New Zealand in August of 2019 to attend Calvary Chapel Bible Institute and Graduated from their Biblical Studies Course in May 2021. Through my time in Bible College the Lord has led me to Calvary Auckland, specifically to the Youth Group, Fusion Youth. Serving with the youth the Lord has given me a heart to see the youth of New Zealand turn to Christ. Learning from the life of Jesus the greatest impact you can have on anyone’s life is in discipleship, this is coming alongside someone in their walk with Christ, living life with them, and pointing them to Jesus. That is my calling here in Calvary Auckland, to cultivate relationships with the youth and to teach and lead them to Christ.

The Rogers Family

We're so grateful to be part of the church in Italy! Don't be deceived, in spite of the physical beauty of our land, the spiritual need is VAST and the battle is intense.

Since 20018 we've served alongside the believers at Calvary Chapel Feltre, located in North Italy's Dolomite mountains. Landon is the teaching pastor while Rachel is an integral part of the women's ministry and what God is doing in our church. On top of that, our favorite titles are being mom and dad to our three kids; Avila, Holden, and Lucy.
We can finally teach and lead meetings in Italian but we realize that learning the culture and language will be a continual pursuit. This process has been a wonderful lesson to depend even more on our God who can speak straight to people's hearts through his word by the Holy Spirit. Slowly but surely God is growing the local believers and we are even seeing more souls added to the kingdom.

Please pray that God would start a revival that would spread to every corner of our surrounding territory. God is moving and we greatly appreciate your prayer and support for our family.

Jenna Wirshing

In September of 2019 I moved to Northern Italy to serve alongside my very close friends, Landon & Rachel Rogers.  I am currently serving at the church that Landon is pastoring, Calvary Chapel Feltre.  I am involved in the worship ministry, youth ministry, and other aspects of discipleship and evangelism.
I have a heart for teens and a desire to see people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  I want to see the gospel spread throughout Italy and see others raised up for the work of the gospel.  However, I know that apart from prayer and the work of the Holy Spirit, all of our efforts will be in vain.  Therefore, I want to thank you for praying for me, for the ministry in Feltre, and for the people of Italy.
Your prayers are greatly appreciated!

The Billings Famliy

In the Fall of 2023 we moved back to New Hampshire, leaving the church in the hands of those we had trained up, so that we could focus our attention on medical treatment for our son Timothy for the next 3-5 years. Paul accepted a new full time position as Deputy Director of special projects for the Joshua Fund for which he will travel 2-3 months of the year to the Middle East.
